Karthikai Deepa festival is a riot all over Tamilnadu.

Madurai: On the occasion of Karthikai Deepa festival, devotees lit lakhs of lamps at Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple. Lamps were lit all over the temple including the Pottamarai pond and Amman and Swami shrines. People lit lamps from every house and worshiped the Lord.
