Padma Bhushan Award

Every year, the Central Government presents prestigious awards such as the Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri. This year, three individuals from Tamil Nadu have been announced as recipients of the Padma Bhushan, and ten individuals have been named for the Padma Shri award. Among the Padma Bhushan awardees from Tamil Nadu are industrialist Nalli Kuppusamy, actor Ajith Kumar, and actress Shobana.
